“Singing the Faith” was published in September 2011, and is the new authorised hymn book of the British Methodist Church.   We are grateful for the generous donation of 40 music copies given in memory of John Usher, and also 40 words copies and 6 large print copies given in memory of Ruth Carter.     

We will be making extensive  use of “Singing the Faith” in our services, but will also draw on other recent material as well as hymns in "Hymns and Psalms" omitted from the new book.

We have now removed copies of "Hymns and Psalms" from the main Church, and from now on will be using the screens for all hymns on a Sunday morning.    

Copies of "Singing the Faith" (words, music and large print copies) are now kept at the back of the Church, together with printed sheets containing words of any hymns being sung on a perticular Sunday which are not in the new book.   These will be available for the use of those who prefer to sing from the printed word rather than from the screens.

"Singing the Faith" and "Hymns and Psalms" books will remain available for use in Sunday evening and midweek services.

For those who have ordered their own personal copies of "Singing the Faith" - these books have now arrived, and can be collected from Reception.    Please pay on receipt of your books!   Thank you.
