Rooted: a wholeness and wellbeing day in Newton St. Cyres on Saturday 7th October – Bookings Only

“They shall be like a tree planted by water,
   sending out its roots by the stream.
It shall not fear when heat comes,
   and its leaves shall stay green;
in the year of drought it is not anxious,
   and it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Jeremiah 17: 8

We all have moments of drought and of doubt where we rely on deep roots to sustain us.  This wholeness and wellbeing day retreat will borrow Jeremiah’s symbolic language of the rooted tree to help us feel grounded, rooted in God’s love and, in this autumn season, consider what fruits may be growing in our lives.  There will be mindfulness, meditation and opportunities for creative expression, alongside time spent amongst the trees of the hidden treasure which is Newton St. Cyres’ small arboretum (see picture).
