Following on from the success of last year’s children’s crafts at Easter and Christmas, the Mint hosted an Easter Craft afternoon on 1 April 2023. This time in addition to the craft activities, Foodcycle provided a lunch freely available to anyone. We had approximately 40 people at the lunch, who all then attended the craft session, with several others coming to crafts after lunch. The crafts included making edible Easter gardens, Easter collage, Easter-themed clay shapes and painting. The event was a great success with positive feedback from many. We will be doing another children’s craft session, this time Christmas themed, during Advent.
