Since January, a new teen group at the Mint has started to meet monthly on the second Sunday of the month during the Sunday morning services. In addition, the group have also been meeting approximately once a month to do something fun on a Saturday afternoon. In February, we went to the iBounce trampoline park in Marsh Barton, Exeter. In March we had a Pizza and Escape Room afternoon at the Mint (in case you’re wondering, you can buy board escape room type puzzle solving board games which you can do without actually being locked in a room!). In April the group went 10 pin bowling. The plan is to continue the pattern of meeting one Saturday in the month, alternating between going somewhere for an activity and doing something at the Mint. We’d welcome new members to join the social meetups, who don’t need to be members of the Mint or young church. The age range for the group is secondary school and up. Future sessions being planned include going to the beach, a board games afternoon, crazy golf and a proper escape room! If you would like more info or to receive invites
