A series of stretches, postures, breathing techniques and relaxation suitable for everyone.
Whilst asana practice will be the main focus we will also examine some of the concepts underpinning the classical yoga tradition, and spend some time developing possibilities in pranayama (breath control) as an aid to health. Each session will include physical practice, breathing and relaxation. I have many years’ experience as a yoga teacher and therapist, working with people who wish to improve their lifestyles and enjoy their health. In recent years too, I have worked with those living with serious chronic illnesses to maintain a sense of well-being both physically and emotionally. I can offer one to one sessions if you prefer. I am happy to discuss any aspect of my work and philosophy.
