The main aim of the club is to develop Literacy and Numeracy skills, but it does so much more than that: giving people a routine in a safe place, developing relationships, building confidence and self-esteem to name but a few. A key aspect of the club is the one-to-one support offered and this reflects an emphasis on building and celebrating individual strengths while addressing individual needs. This contributes to the sense of belonging and being valued.  The club is now organised by two of our church members and many volunteers.  The sessions run from 2.00 -4.00 on a Thursday afternoon during term time.
