Pictured Rev. Steve Santry with his wife Lorna
I have been the minister at The Mint Methodist Church and Community Centre since September 2016. Lorna and I have two children, both of whom have flown the nest! When I am not being the minister at the church of the Superintendent Minister for the Exeter Coast and Country Circuit, I enjoy a game of golf, occasionally get to play my trombone, and you will usually see me cycling to and from church.

We are a thriving facility in Exeter city centre with the building utilised seven days a week. Many community groups make the centre their home, and details can be found by visiting us or clicking on the heading Our Church Centre and About Us on this website. You will always receive a warm welcome and find that The Mint is a place to belong. If you simply want to rest in the welcome area, visit the church for private prayer or engage at a deeper level it is up to you. Staff and volunteers will always be on hand to give advice or to have a chat. I was struck when I first arrived that whilst The Mint is a large church, it is a welcoming and caring community. So whether you are attending the Korean speaking church the English speaking church, or activities in the week you will find a home at The Mint.

Join us for the second installment of our Cafe Church Series where we are focusing on our role in the climate crisis.

All are welcome!

  • Mint Film Club - Twelve Angry Men

    13th November 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

“Twelve Angry Men” has been called ’the most radical courtroom
drama in cinema history’. Played out over a single tense afternoon
in a sweltering room, it features an all-male American jury brought
together to deliberate after hearing the 'facts' in a seemingly
open-and-shut murder trial case. They retire to a jury room to do
their civic duty and find themselves engaged in an unexpectedly
forensic process of deliberation in which each jury member finds
himself facing challenges to his view of the world.
    7
Made in 1957 and starring Henry Fonda, this gripping drama remains remarkably relevant today in many ways, including the threat of prejudices to the operation of a just society. Everyone welcome. Come for tea and cake at 6.30 in Reception or join us for the film at 7.00 in the Wesley Room
