CHURCH CENTRE CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO BEING INVOLVED IN DISTROYED ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION IN MINT LANE
LAST UPDATED 15.50 Sunday 11th May 2025
This Incident was on Mint Lane adjacent to our Mint Methodist Church Rowe Block. We have some external damage to this side of the building and as of 1pm we had no power. It looks as if our landline has been damaged too. Contractors and National Grid are now on site working.
Until power is back (estimated at midnight tonight) and that there has been a thorough property inspection and our Fire Panel is working we can not open our centre. We hope to operate tomorrow but this is dependant on a number of factors. If we can not open we will do our best to contact people who are using our buildings tomorrow.
updates will follow here and Facebook as and when we have any
